A huge welcome to Kira Cosplay!

Posted by Kane Stanford on

Welcome one and all to this glorious day! We have a new cosplayer under our wing and her name is Kira Casey Hopcroft!

We will get into more about her very soon, but before we do. We want you to see who we're working with!

Now that you're familiar with her! Let's go into a little more about who she is!

My hobbies include Art and Design, Cosplay, Crafting, and Gaming. I’m the proud mumma of six Ratties! They were the inspiration for my business; Sew Kira.

I’m heavily influenced by pop culture including; film, TV, games, books, anime, manga, music and more.

Among my favourite films are; Alice in Wonderland, Corpse Bride, Kill Bill, Sucker Punch, Splice, Pacific Rim, and Guardians of the Galaxy! I particularly like the use of strong willed females to carry the film and give it the films’ more depth.

My favourite anime and mange include; Love Live, Chobits, Attack on Titan, Howls moving Castle, Princess Mononoke and Sword Art Online.

I find these anime and manga incredibly inspiring as they all have confident characters that always try their best. As well as this all the females are independent and strong.

In also interested in a few TV series; The Walking Dead, The 100, Scott and Bailey, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, and Doctor Who are among these.

When it comes to TV I like action and thriller types. Something I can get my teeth into so to speak!

My other passion is Ball Jointed Dolls.

Thus far, I own three complete dolls; Dollzone Elsa, Minifee Rhiea, and Littlefee Chloe.

These dolls are collectors items and are made of high quality Resin.

They are fully customizable from the wigs, clothes, and eyes, down to the faceup and bodyblushing; this makes every doll unique and beautiful.

I am hoping to expand my BJD family in the future.

We absolutely love Kira and think she will make a great addition to the team! We are meeting her at the end of this month and will post photos as we go!
